We live in strange times. Between COVID-19 and the heightened awareness around racial injustice, we are being inundated with information and, most likely, are reexamining who we are – our beliefs, where we have been and where we are going. But what if this is the time we are in the womb –as a country and as individuals?

Is there a stirring in your soul that begs for a safe place among women to explore what’s been going on inside of you around the current issues?

Do you long for a guide and listener who is spiritually mature, open, candid, compassionate and caring?

Want to uncover the role of archetypes in understanding your personal life and what’s going on in the world around you at a deeper level?

This is a call to bring together an intimate circle of spiritually mature women for a 9-month Anam Cara (soul friend) Journey. An Anam Cara Journey is a Celtic pathway to self-discovery, focusing on archetypes such as the Rebel, Sage, Saboteur and Visionary that will reveal and help us understand ourselves, our relationships and what’s happening in the larger world community.

In light of COVID-19, the journey has been re-imagined into an online format with three entry points depending on the amount of time and energy you can invest in yourself.

October 2020 thru June 2020
(Second Saturdays)
Designed for a minimum of 8 women, maximum of 10 per online group.
Deposit of $50 required to hold your space – will be applied to first month fee. (Non-refundable if you drop out. Refundable if group doesn’t form)

First Spiral Option involves meeting as a group on Zoom for 2 hours on the 2nd Saturday of the month and throughout the month doing workbook exercises. This allows you to explore personal growth and reflection going as deep as you are comfortable while having the support of other women, and learning how archetypes can be used to help you understand yourself, your relationships and what is going on in the world around you. Each online group is limited to 10 people to allow time for everyone to be involved. Cost: $50/month (Total: $450 for 9 months)

Second Spiral Option includes everything in the first spiral as well as an hour-long mentoring session each month via Zoom with Rev. Beth Astarte. This is a great way to address personal concerns and explore the archetypes that are working in your life. If you choose this option, you will be encouraged to create a personalized journal as part of your journey. Cost: $100/month (Total: $900 for 9 months)

Third Spiral Option includes everything listed in both the First and Second Spirals, plus delves deeply into the various archetypes at work in your life. You will receive information about various archetypes via weekly emails and the mentoring sessions. At the end of the 9-months, you will have the opportunity to re-claim the archetype to support you at this point in your life and can participate in a customized ceremony where you will be witnessed by the community of women who traveled this journey with you. (The ceremony will be in person if it is safe to do so. Otherwise, it will be via Zoom.) Cost: $150/month (Total: $1350 for 9 months)

Until you know how to be a friend to yourself and know yourself, it is hard to have healthy relationships with other people. In this spiral, you will gain a better understanding of who you are by looking at archetypal family stories and patterns (some that may have been going on for generations) and releasing those that no longer serve you. You will have the opportunity to re-engage with your aspirations and deepen your relationship with yourself.

We will meet virtually while physical distancing is recommended. I anticipate we will be able to meet in person at some point during our Journey. Beginning Saturday, October 10, 2020…

Monthly 3.5 hour group gathering the second Saturday of the month via Zoom, (10:00-1:30pm Pacific). Sessions will include small group breakout sessions.
Monthly one-hour mentoring session with Desiree, via video or by phone.

Desirée Rudder is a citizen of the Tsalagi Nation who lives and loves in Oregon’s beautiful mid-Willamette Valley. She is the mother of seven adult children and is enjoying the loves of her life who are her, 16 and counting, grandchildren. As a matrilineal, hereditary healer, Desirée approaches healing by blending ancient Earth-based teachings and Western education with Eastern yogic philosophy. Her spiritual gifts of intuition and empathy assist her in her work as a retreat facilitator, spiritual mentor and counselor, shamanic practitioner, addictions recovery professional, licensed massage therapist, healer, artisan, and ceremonialist.
