“When anam caras connect, barriers and walls fall between religions, cultures and genders, revealing the ancient truth that We Are One.”
– Rev. Kathleen McKern Verigin, Founder of Anam Cara Connections
In ancient Ireland, the anam cara (soul friend) was the priest, or priestess, that companioned the dying person, asking, “As you are dying, how will you live?” Am I living my aliveness between the first and last breaths? That is what The Anam Cara Journey is about – a Celtic pathway to understanding the Self, respecting the Other, and embracing Community. It provides the opportunity for soul friends to connect.
